Darkest Heart: Cross Karakoram
Yes, this page is actually getting updated again! I've made Cross Karakoram a subpage of Darkest Heart, my cross-fandom page of villains, and added one new story, which is also the feature for the month. See April Feature, below.
This page is dedicated specifically to the villains of Gatchaman and Battle of the Planets, Galactor and the Spectrans. Since G-Farce's and Evil Writers' take on their villains frankly nauseates me, I will not be archiving any stories about "Gallactor" from G-Force or Mallanox from Eagle Riders unless they're amazingly good. Most of these stories will feature Berg Katse in a main role. I will also archive any good story featuring any Galactor character as a protagonist or POV character, and any story where Gel Sadra or Egobossler get major roles, as Gel Sadra and Egobossler hardly ever get any fic time. I will also archive any story about Spectra or Spectrans, any story where Zoltar is a main or POV character, and any story where Mala gets a major role.
Note that in many of these stories, and in this index, Katse is assigned hermaphrodite pronouns: s/he for subject, hir for object, and in this index I use hes for possessive, as I find the standard format of the hermaphrodite pronoun (where hir is also possessive) to be unacceptably similar to feminine.
Note 2: this is not an inclusive archive. I am not archiving every story featuring a Galactor ever written, only the ones I like. Feel free to send me submissions, but recognize that I will reject stories I don't consider of high enough quality or which I plain don't like.
All stories are archived by me unless specifically stated otherwise.
April 2000 Feature Fanfic: The Enemy Among Us by Nancy Ford (BOTP, features Zoltar, Mala)
This story was partially responsible for my deciding to update this page! A taut and suspenseful tale in which Zoltar is stranded on Earth; while Anderson and G-Force are closing in, Mala and Agent S-9 maneuver behind the scenes to try to help Zoltar escape. Also a good story for Anderson fans. In fact, it's a rarity for villain-oriented fics in that all the characters are sympathetically drawn; a Spectran fan who likes G-Force too isn't sure who to root for!
