Aleph Press Webzines

Firstly, I'd like to define webzine as I'm using it here. A webzine is essentially an on-line fanzine. Unlike an archive, it is edited, proofread, and the stories carefully chosen or solicited as submissions. Unlike a fanzine, it's on-line on the Web. Aleph Press webzines are distinct from Aleph Press archives: our archives follow a philosophy of being text-only, whereas the web zines are supposed to look spiffy and nice.

Star Trek:

The Continuum After Hours: Adult, contains both het and slash. A fanzine dealing with love and sex among the Q Continuum.

Status: Originally scheduled to be a printed fanzine; will now be a web zine, although I will consider making it available on CD-ROM and print as well. This is still in sore need of artwork, although I may resort to putting the zine up without art. Will very likely be a one-shot (that is, the web zine will go up and not be updated.)

Guests of Honor: Gen, suitable for all teenagers and adult. A fanzine focusing on the guest characters. All series.

Status: Probably defunct and will be rolled into Arch.

The Cube: May contain adult material but not focused on that. A fanzine dealing with the Borg. I'm seeking submissions about Seven of Nine, Hugh, the Borg Queen, Locutus, or any other Borg characters.

Status: I wish to commission a custom background, probably from my brother. I haven't started actively soliciting this one yet and probably won't until Continuum After Hours goes on-line. Will very likely be a one-shot (that is, the web zine will go up and not be updated.)

Arch: Primarily a genzine. Adult material must be exceptional to be considered. Arch is intended to be an ongoing webzine featuring high-quality fanfic on all Trek series.

Status: Still in planning stages; again, I probably won't solicit for this until Continuum After Hours goes on-line.

X-Men:

Omega: Primarily a genzine. Adult material must be exceptional to be considered. Omega is intended to be an ongoing webzine featuring high-quality fanfic on all Xbooks.

Status: Still in planning stages.

Aleph Press Fanzines

There are a rare few tales I still want to publish as paper fanzines.

Gatchaman:

Aite: In Love And War: R for violence. A novel by Alara Rogers. Kyla and Jay are an amnesiac couple who believe they were lovers in their past life, because they were found dying in each other's arms. It never occurred to them until they meet the people from Jay's past as a Science Ninja that perhaps instead they killed each other...

Status: Needs artwork. The guy who promised me art hasn't done it yet and probably never will. If you can draw Gatchaman characters faithful to the original Tatsunoko style and would like to illustrate this story, talk to me.

Price: About $7.00.
